Funny stories are great fun to write and I have enjoyed many hours with tears streaming down my cheeks curled up in my chair when writing a funny short story, flash fiction or article.
Of course others might not think that my funny stories are funny but the point is that I do - hence the huge amount of laughter they evoke in me.
Perhaps the ideal form of any sort of writing for a writer is the writing we write for ourselves. After all, it is the writing that is most likely to strike a chord in our deepest beings because it comes from inside.
The problem with writing funny stories is that they take such a lot of energy and effort and there are a lot of good funny stories already about on the web so readers are spoilt for choice and it is difficult to get them to your funny story site to read your funny stories.
However, if you would like to read some of my funny stories, quite a good place to start is my humor blog.
