Wife stories like wives come in many different forms. Some are humorous, some are romantic and some are, er, very stimulating.
I love my wife when I’m driving in the countryside was an idea for a micro-fiction story that just popped into my head and had me chuckling for the rest of the day. I’m not sure whether it is humorous, romantic or just plain silly but I love it still.
One of my more recent postcard science fiction stories was entitled Reality TV Intergalactic Wife Swap and, yes, it was about wife swapping - but not as we normally know it!
Everybody loves a good wife but not all wives can keep up to the highest standards, especially when their husbands are not really up to scratch. In Romantic weekend getaway with Fred - a short flash fiction story about a weekend hotel break romance by Rob Hopcott - the story is about a wife looking back on an illicit weekend spent away and there is a twist at the end of her tale.
In Sarah’s Price, one of my free online novels / novellas, a wife is split between her love for her husband and her plan to beat the recession that has laid her family finances low and which involves becoming uncomfortably close to another man.
